ARTC East NY MMTP

The Addiction Research and Treatment Corporation provides the highest quality of compassionate, comprehensive, evidence-based health care, and social services; education of the public concerning maintenance of healthy lifestyles; and Cutting-edge behavioral, biomedical, and health care services research.

Services provided:

- Substance abuse treatment services

- Substance abuse treatment, Methadone Maintenance, Methadone Detoxification.

Type of client services:

- Persons with co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders.

- Persons with HIV/AIDS, Women, Men

- Persons with co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders.

- Self payment.

- Medicaid.

- Medicare

- Private health insurance.

Admission to the ARTC Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program is open to all persons who have been addicted to heroin, methadone, or any other opiate for at least two(2) years, if between the ages of 18-21, or for at least one (1) year if over the age of 21. 

The admission criteria for outpatient detoxification is slightly different from ARTC's general admission policy.

Applicants whose medical or psychiatric needs are beyond the scope of the ARTC treatment program are referred to a more appropriate program.
