Located in Costa Mesa, California, these sober living facilities provide a stable environment and structured living arrangement to assist men in maintaining the foundations they have established in treatment and promote a healthy and productive recovery experience. The facilities have 32 beds spread between 2 campuses. The program consists of monitored drug and alcohol testing, medication management, transitional living, life planning and goal setting, and peer to peer support. Additional services include help with personal financial management, life coaching, resume and job placement assistance and more. Physical fitness and outdoor activities are stressed.

Housing young men who are addicts/alcoholics/dual-diagnosed takes special care and presents unique problems. Many drug-addicted young adults are confused or ambivalent when it comes to getting an education or a job. Young men need special guidance in the areas of education and occupation development. At Windward we have access to several local educational and career consultants to assist young men with their occupational and educational goals, whether developing goals or completing goals they have already started.
