The Cumberland Heights Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center offers a number of programs:

Chemical dependency impacts different people in different ways.  That's why Cumberland Heights offers a range of treatment options, both residential and outpatient, designed to meet the diverse and individual needs of each person seeking help.

Our approach to treatment is based on the time tested principles of the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, which originated more than 75 years ago. 

While these principles form the philosophical foundation for our programs, we integrate developments from the fields of neuroscience, psychology, spirituality and medicine into our approach. 

At Cumberland Heights, we strive to provide treatment based on the most current advances in science and recovery.

Our programs vary by length of stay and patient acuity.

Patients using insurance to pay for a portion of treatment can contact our admission department at 800-646-9998. Ask to speak to a financial advisor. The advisor can assist you by gathering your information and calculating an estimate based on your insurance benefits.

Cumberland Heights is contracted with over 55 insurance providers. We will help you through the complex maze of insurance coverage. We will verify your benefits, obtaining authorizations for coverage based on medical necessity.

PRIMARY CARE (30 DAYS) SELF PAY RATES
In the event that you and your treatment team recommend a length of stay greater than what your insurance will authorize, Cumberland Heights offers self-pay rates that are discounted from our published rates and very competitive with other nationally respected treatment centers.

(Balances that are paid in full at the time of admission are eligible for an additional five (5%) percent discount off the self-pay rate.

Physicians' services are billed separately through CHPA. Prescriptions unrelated to detox are forwarded to an outside pharmacy for your convenience and will be billed to your insurance for you. Most medications can be brought with you to treatment and will be reviewed by your attending physician.

EXTENDED CARE
Cumberland Heights offers an extended care program after primary treatment that can be used to extend the treatment experience from 30 to 120 days. All extended care programs are self-pay as they no longer meet insurance criteria for a residential level of care and we are not contracted with any insurance providers for this service.
