Greenbriar provides comprehensive, innovative and compassionate residential programs for individuals suffering with addiction. Our unique drug and alcohol rehabilitation program uses a multi-disciplinary approach to drug and alcohol rehabilitation, with a team of addiction professionals including licensed and certified counselors, board certified psychiatrists, licensed psychologists, medical doctors and a broad range of nurses, nursing assistants, and psychiatric nurses who specialize in addiction, alcoholism and dual diagnosis, and other highly trained and credentialed professionals who collaborate to guide each resident through a thorough diagnosis, individualized addiction treatment and aftercare.

Greenbriar is a dual treatment center that is able to treat clients with mental health issues, as well as substance abuse issues.

Greenbriar also has eight outpatient sites and two halfway houses around the Pittsburgh area.

Payment and insurance accepted:

- Private health insurance.

If you or a family member are interested in treatment but do not have insurance, there are other options for funding.

Each county in Pennsylvania has a Drug and Alcohol office (D & A). The prospective client should contact their home county D & A office and explain that they are in need of treatment, but do not have insurance. The staff at the D & A office will then instruct the client on the necessary steps to take to receive treatment.
Clients also have the option of paying for their treatment out of pocket.
Arrangements must be made with Greenbriar's financial department prior to admission.
