With many Centers of Excellence, Interfaith Medical Center's Department of Psychiatry is organized to provide a comprehensive continuum of mental health and substance abuse services that include both inpatient and ambulatory services with varying levels of intensity to meet the needs of the consumers in our community. The treatment programs are designed to meet the needs of dual diagnosis consumers who may have both mental illness and substance abuse issues or who may be both mentally ill and mentally retarded. IMC participates in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. We also accept a number of commercial plans, HMO's, PPO's and managed care plans. Present your insurance identification cards upon admission along with information on any hospitalization insurance you may have. Many insurance companies now require that the patient call for pre-certification prior to hospital admission. Please do so, if necessary. The hospital may request a deposit to cover the deductible, co-payment or fees for non-insured services.

It is the policy of IMC to provide comprehensive quality health care and medically essential services without regard to a patient's ability to pay or their immigration status. IMC recognizes that there are times when patients in need of medical care may have difficulty paying for the services provided. IMC has a Financial Assistance Program that provides discounts to qualifying individuals based on income. In addition, we can help you apply for free or low-cost insurance if you qualify.
