Pathways Behavioral Services believes that alcoholism and other chemical dependencies are primary, progressive, chronic, and fatal diseases.  This concept of chemical dependency as a disease means the individual is a victim of the illness just like an individual with cancer or diabetes. The least intensive level of care is outpatient counseling. It is recommended for the majority of our clients allowing the client to stay in their home and attend work or school.
